Forward to the Past

Apparently the cat is out of the bag and the news is spreading against our will, so we might as well make it known to the rest of the gang before they feel left out. Yes, Amanda is pregnant.

And no, I'm not. In fact, while experimenting with the software at work today in preparation for my clinical certification, it warned me that Quadruplet Pregnancy was an abnormal diagnosis for males.

So there it is. Take from this post what you will.

Splish Splash Time

Today we were going to take Wesley swimming for the first time, but Amanda told us about a splash park so we went there instead. Just like everything else in this world, the spraying water freaked Wesley out of his mind, but he started to enjoy it eventually. Then we went to a nearby dirt scooper which was much more familiar.




Below is the result of last Sunday's Carcassonne game. We played it with all five expansions, and even though Amanda is winning by 100 points here, my farms and scout were enough to make the amazing comeback in the end. For the record, I'm now ahead by 2 games after she managed to get a three game lead.

Wesley's Post Birthday

It's been a week since Wesley's birthday and he's been having tons of fun with the new goods! His artistic skills have skyrocketed.


We also got a package from the Morses containing this stimulating excitement. Wesley especially likes the tiger pictures and practices roaring when he sees them.

And Amanda's favorite: Marble Madness! Okay, not the Marble Madness. That's one tough game. I don't think I ever made it past the second level. Maybe that's because it took just as long to load as to get through the level, but anyway. This provides building, destruction and coordination skills as long as he has a pacifier to not be tempted to snack on little balls.
