This month we were able to have not one but two visits from the Heit Parents as they went on a tour of some historical sites and came to visit us and Jeff, Lois and Reed. We did a few fun things with them. One of those funnesses was to go to Olbrich Gardens. Wesley's favorite part of the gardens is above.
It was a little hard to get Welsey not to move as he pointed at the elephant, but I think I got the best shot of this that I could.
Fun with Grandpa!
Please note that we didn't take too many pictures of the Parents, and we're excited for when they get their own pictures of their trip posted. But for now, ours will due.
There is a tree with a vine twisting up on it to the left just in case you were wondering what everyone is looking at. This is probably my clearest shot with the most people in it.
A butterfly!
And another one! I was excited to get a few good butterfly shots during this years butterfly season.
I also got a cool picture the clouds reflected in a water pool there. I thought it was very artistic.
Alright, this picture holds a few different memories. This is when we played Carcassonne, the one game that Grandma did not come in first at at our home. Either she was really lucky, or we're just bad at our own games, because Grandma won at least five other games against us. She's one smart cookie! Her strategy was to look like she was losing and then make these amazing comebacks at the end.
Weee!! How many work buildings do you know of that have a slide in the middle of them? Here's grandma having fun on the tunnel slide.
Grandpa may have a better shot of this one, but Grandma was riding a rocking horse! Who said those were just for kids?
I must admit that I find this one particularly amusing. Grandma had to sit on the opposite side of that bench. As far over as she could from the fake dudes.
Oh yah, and this one is me... at almost 20 weeks with twin girls. I didn't put up any new ultrasound pictures in this post. Ummm. Sorry. In my opinion it's a lot harder to see them in the newest pictures, because they're getting bigger and taking up all my room... I mean all their room.
We went and visited the Cave of the Mounds for CR's birthday. It was pretty cool! (pun intended). It may have been a little better if Wesley hadn't gotten hungry and sleepy on the tour.
We had to go through a really narrow spot once. I had to turn a little sideways....
Last, I have some projects that I've been working on. These are toy shelves made from contact paper and Wesley's diaper boxes. I think it turned out nice.
Last I made this board thing to hold our ps3 controllers.
